Who Telehealth Is Right For

Telehealth is not a lesser option — it is a different delivery method for the same quality of care. It is particularly well-suited for:

Patients across Georgia, Florida & New Mexico

Whether you're in Atlanta, Miami, Albuquerque, or anywhere else in our licensed states, telehealth gives you access to boutique psychiatric care without the commute.

Busy professionals and parents

No waiting rooms, no travel time. A telehealth appointment fits into a lunch break, a school pickup window, or a work-from-home day.

Patients with depression or anxiety

When leaving the house feels impossible, telehealth removes the biggest barrier to getting care. You can attend your appointment from your couch.

Veterans and active-duty families

Military families move frequently and often struggle to find providers who understand military culture. Telehealth means continuity of care regardless of where you are in Georgia, Florida, or New Mexico.

Patients managing chronic conditions

Medication management follow-ups, check-ins, and medication adjustments are well-suited to telehealth — no need to come in for every appointment.

Anyone who prefers it

Some patients simply prefer the privacy and convenience of telehealth. That is a completely valid reason to choose it.

How Telehealth Works at S. Jackson Psychiatry

Getting started is straightforward. Here is what to expect.

01

Schedule Your Appointment

Book online or call our office. Let us know you prefer telehealth — we will send you a secure link before your appointment.

02

Complete Your Intake Paperwork

You will receive intake forms electronically before your first visit. Complete them at your own pace from any device.

03

Join From Any Device

At your appointment time, click the secure link from your phone, tablet, or computer. No app download required — just a browser and a camera.

04

Meet With Your Provider

Your telehealth appointment is a real psychiatric visit — not a rushed check-in. We take the same time and care as an in-person appointment.

05

Receive Your Treatment Plan

After your visit, your treatment plan, prescriptions (when appropriate), and any follow-up instructions are sent securely to your patient portal.

What We Can Do Via Telehealth

Most psychiatric services are available via telehealth. A small number of evaluations may require an in-person component — we will let you know if that applies to your situation.

Available via Telehealth

  • Comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
  • Medication management and prescription refills
  • ADHD evaluations and treatment
  • Anxiety, depression, PTSD, and bipolar treatment
  • Supportive therapy and counseling
  • Veterans mental health and VA documentation support
  • FMLA and disability documentation
  • Follow-up appointments and medication adjustments

May Require In-Person

  • Some complex first-time evaluations requiring physical assessment
  • Certain controlled substance prescriptions per state law (Georgia, Florida, or New Mexico)

Secure, Simple Technology

We use a HIPAA-compliant video platform that requires no app download and works on any modern device. Your sessions are encrypted end-to-end. Your health information is never stored on third-party servers. All you need is a device with a camera and a stable internet connection.

Any device
