Board-Certified
Psychiatrist — not a mid-level provider
Telehealth psychiatry is the delivery of psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management via secure video — the same clinical encounter you'd have in person, conducted remotely. Research consistently shows that telehealth psychiatric care produces outcomes equivalent to in-person care for most conditions. At S. Jackson Psychiatry, telehealth is not a lesser option — it is a full-service clinical encounter with a board-certified psychiatrist.
We treat the full spectrum of psychiatric conditions via telehealth — the same conditions we treat in our Macon office.
Major depressive disorder, persistent depressive disorder, postpartum depression, seasonal affective disorder, and treatment-resistant depression.
Generalized anxiety, panic disorder, social anxiety, specific phobias, agoraphobia, and health anxiety.
Post-traumatic stress disorder, complex PTSD, acute stress disorder, and trauma-related mood and anxiety symptoms.
Adult ADHD evaluation and medication management, including stimulant and non-stimulant options. Comprehensive assessment included.
Bipolar I, Bipolar II, cyclothymia, and mixed features — including mood stabilizer management and monitoring.
Obsessive-compulsive disorder, body dysmorphic disorder, hoarding disorder, and trichotillomania.
If you live in Atlanta, Savannah, Augusta, Columbus, or anywhere else in Georgia, telehealth gives you access to a boutique psychiatric practice without the drive.
Schedule appointments during a lunch break or between meetings. No commute, no parking, no waiting room — just your appointment.
Chronic illness, disability, or transportation barriers should not prevent access to quality psychiatric care. Telehealth removes those barriers.
For patients whose anxiety makes in-person appointments difficult, telehealth provides a lower-barrier entry point to care.
Maintain continuity of care while traveling for work or family. As long as you're in Georgia, your appointment can happen anywhere.
You don't need to be a prior patient. New patients are welcome for telehealth evaluations — start your care from wherever you are.
Schedule your appointment through our online booking system. Select telehealth as your appointment type. You'll receive a confirmation with your video link.
Before your appointment, complete your intake forms online. This allows your provider to review your history before the visit and use your time efficiently.
At your appointment time, click the link in your confirmation email. The platform works on any smartphone, tablet, or computer — no app download required.
Your appointment proceeds exactly like an in-person visit. Your provider conducts a thorough evaluation, discusses your history, and answers your questions.
Prescriptions are sent electronically to your pharmacy. Follow-up appointments are scheduled before you leave. Your care continues seamlessly.
For most psychiatric conditions and most patients, the clinical difference between telehealth and in-person care is minimal. The evaluation, the conversation, the diagnosis, and the treatment plan are the same. The primary differences are logistical — you don't travel, and we don't share a physical space. Some situations may benefit from in-person care: patients who require physical examination, those with severe symptoms requiring close monitoring, or patients who simply prefer face-to-face interaction. We'll always recommend the right setting for your clinical needs.
